Take control of your table-mounted router for quick, accurate, reliable, and repeatable setups

The Precision Router Lift helps you elevate your routing capabilities by providing precise control when making router setup changes or changing bits. The lift replaces the standard insert plate in a router table (the 3/8" x 91/4" x 113/4" plate fits all Kreg router tables plus many popular brands) and accepts 20+ popular router models—without the need for adapters or modifications—in a high-performance carriage that you raise and lower from above the table.

With the Precision Router Lift, there’s no more reaching under the table to make adjustments or change bits, plus vastly improved control over all adjustments, large or small. Instead, simply use the lift’s included crank to adjust the height of your router bit easily and precisely from above the table. This makes adjustment fast, simple, and accurate so you can set up your router faster, and then dial in the exact bit height you require using the Precision Router Lift’s built-in micro-adjustment scale. The lift also simplifies changing bits by allowing you to do that from above the table.

The Precision Router Lift is designed so that every full revolution of the adjusting crank moves the carriage—and your bit—exactly 1⁄16", though adjustments down to thousandths of an inch are possible. A built-in micro-adjust scale can be zeroed out at any point to establish your baseline bit setup, so you can make exact bit height changes, and readjust to the exact same setting confidently every time for repeat cuts.

Whether you’re upgrading an existing router table, setting up a new one, or building your own custom table, the Precision Router Lift is the perfect routing accessory. It offers the precision you demand to achieve exacting routing standards, along with the fast, easy performance you want in order to spend less time setting up and more time routing.

My router lift

I recently purchased this Precision Router Lift at Woodcraft in Austin, Texas. I installed into my Precision Router Table and Oh Man, talk about getting the right height. Before this I was using the router's adjustment device, and that was okay, but if one was not careful, it would slip and I'd lose the correct height. This lift has really added to my routing abilities. My neighbor came up yesterday with a project for a small play table. I pulled out my router to make some Cope/Stick cuts for the legs and they came out perfect. I could not have done that with my other router table. Which, BTW, I gave it to a friend of mine, and he's using it to get into woodworking. So, if you want precise height control for your routing, this is definitely the way to go.

Great improvement to my router table

I have a Kreg router table, the package they offered a while back with a large Triton router. It worked pretty well but raising and lowering the Triton was a bit of a chore. This new lift offered several improvements. The positive (no slop) setting is really great. The part that I most looked forward to was the dial to establish a beginning point (set the height where you think you want it; cut a test piece; adjust accordingly. Unfortunately the dial was immovable. Called Kreg and they had no idea what was going on. Took the assembly apart and got the dial loose. Works fine now. Planned to use a DeWalt 618 router but the push to lock the collet was below the table top. Might have worked with a screwdriver? Wasn't happy with that solution so went with a PC690 that I had, which works ok but has no speed control (which I need for raised panels). So, have ordered a Bosch 1617 which I think (hope) will work. Bottom line, this is a very good thing, but requires a little TLC and special touches to make perfect. In spite of the above comments, please note that I gave 5 stars. It is a quality piece. Have done some work with it and really like it.

After eagerly awaiting the release of this product, I immediately purchased one from my local dealer. It took less than 10 minutes to get it setup, and I immediately knew this is a winner! What a joy to be able to make adjustments or change bits without having to crawl under the table. The Precision Router Lift is an awesome addition to Kreg's lineup of products, and I highly recommend it to anyone.
